Golfing

Enjoy a round of golf on one of North Devon’s brilliant golf courses. The Royal North Devon at Westward Ho! is the oldest links course in England, laid out in 1864.  Our very own course in Ilfracombe is the second oldest, created in 1892 and Saunton Golf Club is a championship course famous throughout the country.  No clubs? No clue? You’ll find professional tuition and equipment hire available.

Cycling 

North Devon offers some of the best cycling in the world. There are lots of marked cycle trails, route leaflets, and traffic free cycle ways. The Tarka Trail is an unbroken 34-mile long trail and cycle hire is easy. Hire bikes from Braunton, Barnstaple, Fremington, Bideford, and Great Torrington.
